Civil engineering and construction

Client: YWL Engineering

Project: Skybridge, Hong Kong Airport

Challenge:

YWL wanted a visualisation of Hong Kong International Airport's ambitious Sky Bridge project. The 135-meter span crossing active taxilanes required precise modeling of the complex structural engineering, showing how three massive prefabricated modules would be transported and elevated using specialized mobile transporters and mega towers.

Outcomes:

Intense visualised the full method — how three massive prefabricated modules would be transported and lifted into place with specialised transporters and mega-towers, across a live airport. The bridge’s dual role — linking Terminal 1 to the North Satellite Concourse, with observation decks, retail and passenger amenities — stayed legible throughout. Exceptional construction logistics, made clear.
